Who's to Blame for Sarah Palin? REALLY?

sexism-picture.jpg

From my sexism lives files:

A day after former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin made her international debut at a Hong Kong investors conference, an Alaska newspaper apologized for a headline that ended up on the front page. Above a small photo of Palin near the bottom of Page One of Wednesday's Fairbanks Daily News-Miner, the headline read, "A broad in Asia." The headline was apparently written intentionally and was not simply an error.

ObamaCare = Medicaid for All

090724_TC.jpg

There is so much bad news about ObamaCare it is hard to know just where to start. The main problem with ObamaCare is that for all the hopla it is just a MASSIVE expansion of Medicaid--insurance for the indigent. Obama has decided that Government should be the heathcare provider to all and to do that he has taken the most broken system on the planet (Medicaid) and set the stage to move as many people as possible into Medicaid. Forget the exchanges Obama touted: under BarkyCare you will be Forced into Medicaid even if you want an exchange plan.

Howard Fineman of Obamaweek writes that Obama "came {to New Orleans} with news that the Orleans Parish school system was about to get a check for $1.8 billion. Whee. That's you and me...our tax dollars. Now for $1.8 billion bucks (extra bucks), Orleans Parish ought be set to pump out the most bestest everest students ever. But...Obama won't talk about the real problem behind the fact that some students just won't make the cut no matter how much money and time we pour into them.

Shame on Glen Beck but three Cheers for Tea Party

beck_at_rally-ap-0828_296.jpg

Glen Beck, Fox's counterpart to MSNBC's Keith Olbermann, has the first amendment right to gather folks on the day and sight of Martin Luther King's glorious "I Have a Dream Speech," but...the hell he should Not!
Respect. Hello where is the respect?

The funny thing is...the Left while telling 70% of Americans they are bigots and racists and nasty unwashed people for not wanting Islamoland anywhere near the epicenter of a massive slaughter committed by lunatics in the name is Islam...the Left (in this instance NYTime's Windbag Bob Herbert) has this to say about Beck:

Obama to women: go to Hell, but first donate your eggs so I can live longer

Obama says NO to federal funds for abortion, but...fights tooth and nail for ferderal funds for stem cell research. Yep, Liberal Dude Nation stikes again.
Jeers:
Since 1976, Congress has annually attached a provision known as the Hyde Amendment to the HHS appropriations bill to bar the use of federal funds for abortion services in Medicaid.

Cheers and Jeers

Sacramento, Calif. (AP) --
California lawmakers have approved a bill that would prohibit landlords from requiring tenants to declaw or devocalize their pets in order to move in.

Jeers: The sight of men wearing bras or bikini tops hardly causes a ripple in San Francisco anymore, but....
on Sunday, a group of guys did so for a different purpose - to demand that women be allowed to legally bare their breasts in public.~SF Chronicle.

What a joke. Really Liberal Dude Nation...is this the best you have? You betcha!

Did you hear the one about Obama and the Mosque?

"For the families of the victims of 9/11, whatever emotions they want to have, I respect and I honor. But somebody needs to lead them through a discussion," TIME and MSNBC political analyst Mark Halperin said on "Morning Joe."
Oh if things don't get more condescending than that? Yes they can:

HUD drove our economy into a ditch and Obama pressed the gas pedal

From Investor's Business Daily:
The Treasury secretary hosted a summit Tuesday to discuss redesigning the mortgage-finance system — 75% of which is still controlled by Fannie and Freddie, which are still bleeding billions at taxpayer expense.

Geithner vowed to fundamentally "change" the failed government-sponsored mortgage giants. Yet, suspiciously, he didn't offer how. Nor did he explain why they lowered their underwriting standards and collapsed under the weight of subprime loans and securities. So here's a refresher:
