DowdQuoting Racism, SexismWednesday, January 27, 2010 at 11:16 pm — admin
As I watch Obama spin and twirl in an attempt to spin himself palatable tonight, I am pulling a piece from our hold bin. It dates back to this fall when Jimmy Carter and Maureen Dowd, befuddled by Americans who didn't support ObamaCaid, yelled RACIST in a crowed movie theater. Our piece shows disgust at such dangerous bandying of the serious charge of racism but it also condemns the idea that openly racist language is OK so long as you are quoting said language. Here you go....and sorry so tardy! In reading a piece on racism by Harry Stein in City Journal this passage stood out: Surfside, women things, Dowd off mark, Obama arrogance on settlementsTuesday, November 10, 2009 at 6:23 pm — admin
Just them women things:
Female Complicity in Sexism, Can it Stop?Thursday, June 18, 2009 at 11:04 am — admin
All the talk about Palin and just how God-awful she is according to the media has me thinking that a year ago it was Hillary the media were going after with a vengeance. “That” woman Hillary was no less a devil than “this” woman Palin. Hillary refused to go away, quietly into the night, just as Palin refused to take sexist insults lying down so nice like for the media to walk upon—walk upon in steel-toed construction boots. Barack Hussein Obama (as he himself has designated as his official name for oath of office) will be sworn in this week as potus. As happy as we at FemiSex are to see the first black take office, we are also ineffably saddened by the sexism and misogyny that allowed his rise to power. Without the media’s constant hammering down of Hillary, we at FemiSex feel this would be a very different day. Because sexism played such a large part in Obama’s victory, that victory is tainted. Miss Dowdy of the Times dishes Sexism under conservative cover, The Times continues to show extreme sex bias in its OpEd section. The Sex Wars brought to you by the Gray Lady herself. Missy Maureen Dowd is hardly worth a mention these days, what with her compulsive need to flush women down the toilet she’s all but invalidated anything she pens. Yet, I will succumb for a brief moment. Sadly Dowdy’s not lettn’ go of Palin, just as she kept Clinton ground between her nashy teeth until primary-death did they part. |
