Obama: “This is a health care bill, Not an abortion bill.”
Perhaps Mr. Obama needs a few facts. For women of reproductive age, abortion is part of their health care. As a matter of fact one-third of all women will undergo this procedure at some point. It is the most common surgical procedure for women.
But… Obama needed more rope to hang himself so
he added:

Obama said. "And we're not looking to change what is the principle that has been in place for a very long time, which is federal dollars are not used to subsidize abortions."

Ah the change you can’t believe in! Remember when pro-choice Catholic Frances Kissling gave her support to Obama over Hillary b/c she said Obama would be more likely to get rid of the Hyde Amendment? (see links below!) HA! Obama lied! He is actually structuring a plans that would outlaw abortion coverage!

To say that abortion is not an integral part of women’s health care is lie to a degree I’ve not witnessed by a politician since we heard about those WMDs that Colin and Bush and Cheney sold us.

Perhaps Obama is using this abortion tactic as a red herring to move debate away from what he really cares about: sneaking government take over public plans into this mess of reform that is wending its way into our living rooms and bedrooms and bathrooms. So what if reproductive heath care for women is a causality to his goals. Millions of abandoned women is no reason to blink. Right? WRONG! And…

YES WE CAN, fight too much government both in our reproductive health care and our health care in general.
