Belittling Hillary, Palin, and now Bachmann, Rolling Stone's Matt Taibbi has a perfect record

bachmann.jpg

After reading the Rolling Stone's sexism screed on Michele Bachmann, it is clear the bigoted sexist media is at it again. Just cross out Palin's name and write in Bachmann's. Or in many instances, cross out Hillary, put in Sarah, opps, now it Michele we want to target with sexism. Quite frankly, I would not like to see any woman go up against Obama because she has no chance against the misogyny of MSM, and like Ms. Bachmann has said: the U.S. cannot afford another term of Spend us to the Greek Obama governance. And Michele is not a perfect female candidate; she reminds me in many ways of Mike Huckabee in religious thought and politics. But if any of you can find a hit job on Huckabee like the below on Palin, I'll give you a buck! And let me tell you, I've never been so sure of keeping a buck in my wallet as with this bet. If Bachmann is nuts so is Huckabee but where is that every written, that he is bat shit crazy. A Stepford terminator whose goal of power is enough to scare men's nuts right back up into their stomachs.

Below is from the Rolling Stone Bigot Matt Taibbi, writing on Michele Bachmann.

Hillary: liar; Palin, liar; Bachmann, liar…get the message?

this hard-charging challenger for the GOP nomination is a rare breed of political psychopath, equal parts crazed Divine Wind kamikaze-for-Jesus and calculating, six-faced Machiavellian prevaricator.

Bachmann lies because she can't help it, because it's a built-in component of both her genetics and her ideology
dangerous kind of liar,
a "cold and calculating" person (just like Palin, Hillary you know!)

And Bachmann is …completely batshit crazy
living completely inside her own mind, frenetically pacing the hallways of a vast sand castle she's built in there, unable to meaningfully communicate with the human beings on the other side of the moat, who are all presumed to be enemies.

don't look her in the eyes; don't let her smile at you.

{she is like} Far Out Space Nuts,

(FemiSex note: On Alpha women)
when she turns her head toward the cameras and brandishes her pearls and her ageless, unblemished neckline and her perfect suburban orthodontics in an attempt to reassure the unbeliever of her non-threateningness, is one of the scariest sights in the entire American cultural tableau. She's trying to look like June Cleaver, but she actually looks like the T2 skeleton posing for a passport photo.

(FemiSex note: On a woman’s nerve to seek power: )
It has taken just over 10 years for Bachmann to go from small-town PTA maven to serious presidential contender, a testament to both her rare and unerring talent for generating media attention, and to her truly astonishing energy level and narcissistic tenacity.

Minnesota politicians who have squared off against Bachmann all speak with a kind of horrified reverence for her martial indomitability, her brilliantly fortifying lack of self-doubt, even the fact that she hasn't appeared to physically age at all in 10 years.

(FemiSex note: On belittling women’s success:)
getting herself elected is pretty much the only thing she has accomplished in politics. That's not an exaggeration: As both a state senator and a congresswoman, Michele Bachmann has never passed a piece of meaningful legislation. (FemiSex note: recall Obama’s lack of meaningful legislation, true but voraciously denied by MSM—it’s all in the spin cycle).

Bachmann proposed an amendment to the Minnesota constitution banning gay marriage — despite the fact that the state legislature had already passed a law making same-sex unions illegal. Even the politicians who were sufficiently gay-phobic to have passed the original anti-¬marriage law were floored by the brazen pointlessness of Bachmann's bill. (FemiSex note: Ah the insertion of brazen …read hussy…and the forgetfulness of Obama’s directive to pursue the Defense of Marriage Act in the face of states’ approval of gay marriage.)

her Stepford head visible

complete inability to tell the truth or even to identify objective reality

her early freakouts
her crazed antipathy

strutting up and down the catwalk for the world to see. This was Michele's catwalk moment

but often overlooked is her greatest quality, the gigantic set of burnished titanium Terminator-testicles swinging under her skirt.

Bachmann is ruthlessly goal-oriented

She is a television camera's dream, a threat to do or say something insane at any time, the ultimate reality-show protagonist.

{her}brain is a raging electrical storm of divine visions and paranoid delusions.

"Belittling Bachmann"—a report on media sexism from IBD
Bachmann’s bio
from IBD, quoting MB:

"I'm not only a lawyer," she told Wallace on "Fox News Sunday." "I have a post-doctorate degree in federal tax law from William and Mary. I've worked in serious scholarship and worked in the United States federal tax court. My husband and I raised five kids. We've raised 23 foster children."
She went on: "We've applied ourselves to education reform. We started a charter school for at-risk kids. I've also been a state senator and a member of the United States Congress for five years. I've been very active in our business. As a job creator, I understand job creation, but also I've been leading actively the movement in Washington, D.C., with those who are affiliated with fiscal reform."

Now from Matt the Bigot on Hillary, which is exactly the hit job he does here on Bachmann when you read the whole Rolling Stone piece-- link above...which is to bring up trivial things from her past and distort them to make her out a monster and spin her present in a most negative light. Matt can't get away with bat shit crazy for Hillary outright so he goes for the more covert she's a nut like Nixon, thinking everyone is out to get her. That is exactly his SAME spin on Michele Bachman that she's a paranoid freak show driven by crazy ambition to power not matter what.

From Matt:

Hillary Clinton: The New Nixon?
Hillary has taken her strategy straight out of Tricky Dick's paranoid, press-bashing playbook.

To see Hillary Clinton as a martyr for anything is to give her far too much credit for weakness and not nearly enough credit for her strengths, one of which happens to involve resurrecting, against all odds, the ghost of Richard Nixon.

What people forget about Clinton is that she is basically a Republican at heart. She campaigned for Barry Goldwater once upon a time and even canvassed poor neighborhoods in Chicago looking for "vote fraud" by Democrats. She was president of the College Republicans at Wellesley. In 1968, at the height of America's most intense cultural debate in a century, she only abandoned the Republican Party because it backed Dick Nixon instead of her favorite, Nelson Rockefeller.

more;
In Hillary's case, the Nixon analogy extends in almost every direction. To listen to a Hillary stump speech is to hear a tale of endless confrontations with enemies; at one event I attended in Iowa, she railed against the Republicans who tried to crush her over health care, the Chinese who tried to stifle her over her "women's rights are human rights" speech, a pharmaceutical industry that bucked when she passed a law requiring that drugs be tested for use on children, and a press that tells lies about her. The speech conveniently ignored the fact that Hillary (a) takes more money from Big Pharma than any candidate in the race and (b) voted to keep most-favored-nation trading status with China despite her human-rights concerns, and that she and her husband were bogged down in a scandal involving campaign contributions from the Chinese.

Hillary's campaign is and always has been presented as a pitched battle for political survival against bitter enemies, and no reporter who has watched the way she stage-manages every last utterance and generally treats the press like a gang of rattlesnakes (which they are, of course) can possibly fail to appreciate the similarity to Nixon's own troubled, hypervigilant relationship with the fourth estate.

I feel sorry for Matt. His pathology is surely the most frightening thing here, because while he doesn't say so you can be sure he believes that God is directing him to write a whole lot of misogyny against women infidels.
Michele is an ideologue yes, but so is Obama and if her's is a danger of religious fervor then Obama is one of financial fervor.
It would be very easy to write a piece about Obama that fit this mold, using his affiliations with bombers, durg use and racists to smear him bat shit crazy, but....MSM doesn't do that to men, especially when they are crushing on how great they are for liking a black dude.

This would be unbelievable if

This would be unbelievable if it were not for the fact it's all just a repetition of what we saw before with Sarah Palin and to a lesser extent Hillary Clinton. Taibbi is batshit crazy for sure.

Point take. However read

Then again, I don't know if anyone has ever bothered to do a greatest hit collection on Mike Huckabee when he won in Iowa in 2008.

ouch she does say some odd

ouch she does say some odd things
question is, is she pandering to her base or does she go all in. i think she is more all in than Sarah was to the anti-choice stuff. too bad they raked Sarah over the coals, now it is hard to know what to believe. read the shit Taibbi wrote about Hillary Clinton and that just makes me less sure.
