The Good News:
According to the NYTimes, Conan O'Brien has captured the youth audience that advertisers drool over. Letterman is little more than an Old Folks Home for sexists, bigot and misogynists!

The Bad News:
The misguided editors at teh NYTimes can't figure out which story is Front Page news.
A- That Nixon--36 years ago!--said that abortion is a questionable practice, and that he fired Archibald Cox, a special prosecutor looking into to Watergate. (Exactly who doesn't know that tidbit of history by now, or for that matter much care!)
or
B--That the Obama administration is trying to block the American public from learning that members of the Saudi royal family may have financed Al Qaeda to the tune of hundreds of millions of dollars.

If you answered B (and for God's sake, who would not!) count yourself too stupid to work as an editor at the NYTimes.
On Wednesday, June 24, 2009 the NYTimes ran the Nixon story on the Front Page and the Obama/Saudi story on page A11.

The Bizarre News:
Misogynist Marueen Dowd is now a marriage expert. She is happy to tell American women exactly how to deal with a cheating spouse. Per Dowd's "Rules of the Wronged" women must do what she says or risk her wrath.

If he cheats--change the locks, says Dowd. ( Psst, says FemiSex: can someone tell Dowd that 75% of American women take back their cheating male partner. )

If he cheats, only tell your girlfriends or shrink...never never hurt his career or dignity by going public. (Psst, says FemiSex: perhaps if more women who were cheated on spoke out with intent to harm the cheater's career, perhaps the cheating would not happen as often!)

If he cheats don't mentions the kids. (Easier said than done, just ask anyone locked into a custody fire-fight. )

If he cheats don't blame the woman with whom he cheated. (Ha, ever been cheated on? Sure, that'll happen when little green men from Mars do your dishes. Clearly Dowd has rolled in the hay with many a married man, and hates it when the "harridan wife" calls to complain!

If you are a high-powered woman and he cheats don't blame anyone--it is your fault entirely! (Ye gads, Dowd has gone over the cliff here, no good response to that gibberish.)
