Exposing Media's Reverse Racism (We already know about their sexism!)

Exposing Media’s Racism

Read the following graf from Wapo and see if you can spot the journalist’s cover up for the fact he has zero evidence of racial slurs or spit:

Members of the Congressional Black Caucus SAID that racial epithets were hurled at them Saturday by angry protesters who had gathered at the Capitol to protest health-care legislation, and one congressman said he was spit upon. The most high-profile openly gay congressman, Rep. Barney Frank (D-Mass.), WAS heckled with anti-gay chants.

Yep, I have helped you all out with the addition of capital letters. Despite all their journo efforts Wapo was unable to verify by phone, or camcorder or listening device that anyone used the n word. Therefore Paul (Shame on YOU) Kane does what he has to do to get this in print. (Clearly there is independent verification of anti-gay sentiments b/c Kane uses the words “was heckled” to say he has confirmation of this part.

Now, skip down a bit and read this:

Protesters outside the Capitol hurled epithets at Reps. John Lewis (D-Ga.) and Andre Carson (D-Ind.) as they left the building after President Obama delivered an 11th-hour speech on behalf of the health care bill. Carson TOLD reporters that protesters yelled "kill the bill," then used a racial epithet to describe Carson and Lewis, who is a revered figure on both sides of the aisle.

Ok again no independent confirmation.
But….when speaking about Frank’s ordeal:

According to OBSERVERS, Frank WAS confronted by about 100 protesters inside the Longworth House Office Building, where Democrats were huddling for another meeting about the legislation. Some targeted Frank with anti-gay epithets and urged him to vote against the bill.

What is the large foul committed: "Protesters outside the Capitol hurled epithets at at Reps. John Lewis (D-Ga.) and Andre Carson (D-Ind.) as they left the building after President Obama delivered an 11th-hour speech on behalf of the health care bill."
The above sentence is a game changer for the story.

This is the worst sort of journalism. Kane pretends that his SAID and TOLD provide cover for this sentence that states unequivocally that the n word was used. As an editor, I can tell you it does NOT. If you can’t confirm what these black congressmen claim in the face of pretty daunting evidence to the contrary, you must NOT report this as fact. (A few thousand cell phones, cameras and other devices that capture sound should turn up proof to validate the black men’s claims of racism. )
Any editor who works at the W.Post is well trained and knows that this is terrible and shoddy and yellow journalism. A simple sentence saying no one has been able to capture on video or cell phone the alleged indidents despite their ubiquity at the event.
Kane and his editors are counting on you to be gullible fools. Frank Rich uses this Kane Wapo piece as cover to say this:

There’s nothing entertaining about watching goons hurl venomous slurs at congressmen like the civil rights hero John Lewis and the openly gay Barney Frank.

What a damn shame that journalists at the NYTimes and Wapo are now nothing more than a game of telephone. They know that if you tell something over and over again, no matter how much or little truth there is in the story, the more people hear it the more it will be accepted as the truth. They pulled this shit when they tarred Hillary as a racist but refused to show Obama's sexism. (e.g., "I got 99 problems but a bitch ain't one of them" blared at most of Obama's rallies. )

Frank Rich goes on to say that b/c the Tea Party Mvt is mostly white it is evil. I guess then that the NAACP is pure evil too? No, it is a group of people who are fighting for what they believe in.
I hate race baiters. If you can’t win honestly, call Americans racist. That is what democratic media pulled at the 11th hour to get Obama elected, telling us if we didn't vote for Obama we were all a bunch of raging racists. Now, if we recoil from spending our nation into the gutter, and income tax rates of 50%, well we are just a bunch of racists.
If we don't approve of the Obama's plans for a date night...racists. If we boo his bills...racists. If we breathe white....racist. This shit is getting very tiring.

And btw: WHERE are the media howls over an incident of confirmed sexism?
The last sentence of the Wapo story says:

one carried a broomstick with cardboard pasted onto it with the label "Here's Your Ride," for Pelosi.

Well, let me tell you why the media does not howl about sexism that is actually confirmed:
because the media themselves love sexism and that sign on “Here’s your ride” is almost verbatim a sentence that was uttered against Hillary during the primaries by a male pundit on Meet the Press as Tim Russert sat by and laughed and laughed. “Half the country thinks Hillary is a witch who rides around on a broom.” Remember folks, this was not a John Smith on the street but high-ranking punditry on Sunday AM TV.

But heck the media thought that was just fine.
Kane just stuck that last sentence in as wishful thinking…hoping one dumb broad thinks media opposes sexism. HA. Racist bitch.
This has GOT to stop. We can't have our media call us racists for objecting to our government! This can NOT STAND!

Fuck You Frank Rich There’s

Fuck You Frank Rich

There’s nothing entertaining about watching goons hurl venomous slurs at female candidates for president of vice president!

Most liberal men in MSM are not bothered by sexism but freak out over racism directed at men.

Good post!!!!There was a time

Good post!!!!There was a time when you could believe everything you read in the paper. Too bad when we cant believe anything anymore.

What is Wrong with White

What is Wrong with White People, asks Salon.

Joan Walsh pulling the same crap she did during the election. She is ranting that only dumb people don't support Obama's grand plan to expand the government. Just like before, if you don't support Barack H. Obama you can be assumed to be dumb and racist.

Thanks for the link to Salon story. I really loved this comment under the story!

Joan, what an artful statement.
"The "I want my country back!" rhetoric does reflect a mind-set in which one's country has been taken away by ... others."

Didn't Howard Dean have the same theme?

And here--what does it say on Dean's backdrop, as the camera pulls back?
