NO F’ing WAY! Tim Kaine Picked by Obama to head DNC, Kaine a man who is opposed to abortion, who supports his state's criminal ban on abortion!

NO F’ing WAY! Tim Kaine Picked by Obama to head DNC, Kaine a man who is opposed to abortion, whose state has the MOST restrictive abortion laws on the books, Kaine whose stated, YES stated purpose is “Enforcing the current Virginia restrictions on abortions.” Those restrictions include criminal bans on abortion. NOW is the Time to GET ANGRY. As a Gov.of Virginia it is one thing, as the HEAD of the Democratic Party….I DON’T Think SO!

Tom Kaine, Obama pushed hard, very HARD for Tom Kaine to head up the DNC.
?????????????????
From the NYTimes:-------------------
WASHINGTON — Gov. Tim Kaine, of Virginia, who was a top contender to be President-elect Barack Obama’s running mate, has been tapped by him to become the next chairman of the Democratic National Committee, Democrats familiar with the decision said Sunday.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Now let’s get this straight…b/c Kaine crawled into Obama’s butt at the outset of 2007 and helped him win Virginia over Hillary, because of this…..women must pay the price.

An anti-abortion head of the DNC?
??????????????????????????

For some perspective:
Palin was vilified by democrats and women b/c she favored teaching abstinence along with sex ed in schools. (btw, the press lied to Americans, leaving off the "along with" part.)
NOTE:
Kaine wants “abstinence-focused education.”
Kaine is against allowing women the abortion method that is safest to them, he wants women to beg for their abortion rights, all the while, stating that he is opposed to abortion rights—ya know personally. (Sounds about Palin, right?--to CHAIR the BLUE party!)

Kaine is committed to "Enforcing the current Virginia restrictions on abortion", which….GET THIS…per NARAL (National Abortion Rights Action League) gets an F, yes an F on their annual report card that “grades each state on its laws related to reproductive heath care.”

NOTE: “Virginia has an unconstitutional and unenforceable criminal ban on abortion.” ~Naral

So Kaine, who is in favor of laws that outlaw abortion to the point of criminality in his state is picked by Obama to be the Chairman of the DNC.

THERE IS ONE THING CLEAR HERE: OBAMA HAS NO WISH TO CHANGE THE CULTURE OF MISOGYNY IN THIS COUNTRY. KEEPING WOMEN BEGGING FOR ABORTION—KEEPING THE MESSAGE THAT ABORTION IS A HUMAN RIGHT THAT ALL WOMEN ARE ENTITLED TO, OFF (yes OFF) THE TABLE—IS THE ONE SURE WAY TO BE SURE THAT A WOMEN WILL NOT CHALLENGE HIM WITH ANY HOPE OF A WIN IN 2012. OBAMA CLEARLY WANTS TO KEEP THE ABORTIONS WARS GOING AND GOING. KEEPING ABORTION IN THE CLOSET OF CONVERSATION IS A WAY TO CONTINUE TO SHAME WOMEN—A WAY TO KEEP WOMEN WEAK, AND SUCKLING AT THE BREAST OF THE DNC, A MACBETHIAN BREAST THAT ONLY FEEDS US GALL DURING THE REIGN OF DEAN AND OBAMA AND KAINE.

84% of the counties in Virginia have no abortion provider.

F*ck you (no middle finger rubbing my face coyly as you did to Hillary, this is an outright flip you OFF!) Barack Hussein Obama! Your Dark House just got way way darker. Just think of the fun Jon and Tim can have dancing in the DARK! Ricky calling on the spirits to damn all Nazi women while Jon fondles them and Tim makes them beg for their freedom and Summers tells them they are too stupid to get stuff.

This PICK assures women that the Abortion wars will live on and on and on. You have given much legitimacy to force against women... all for the sake of keeping us needy to the only Party that sortakindamaybe likes repro freedom for women.
Bushy gave us the W symbol to help Americans idolize him; you are the same sort of man with the O plated everywhere you can think to put it. arrogance and self-love the message. 8 years of W was 8 too many, and 4 years of O is looking A LOT like 4 too many!

Obama's showing signs of

Obama's showing signs of secretly yearning for the good-ol-boys administrations of yesteryear. I think O has a problem with teh womens, based on this example and a few dozen others from the last two years.

For a political man, he's awfully cavalier about slapping his fellow dems -- women and men -- right in the face. I think you may be right that he's got his eye on narrowing the field in 2012 and continuing to marginalize women is part of that strategy. That, and sucking up to haters in general, apparently.

Well, we voted him in and we can vote him out, too.

BTW, what's with your use of his middle name so often? Hussein IS his middle name, of course, but what's that got to do with anything? Just wondering!

reply: actually during the run-up to elections we used BHO and HRC much of the time. no particular reason-just shorthand.
We rarely use BHO's middle name in spell-out fashion as we did with this post. We did so here to make a point. That point: using Hussein was off limits in the press for the reason it might turn American's away from Obama. One could argue all day if Hussein is a negative for Obama or not, but The Press knew it was, despite all our high-minded talk to the otherwise. The press protected Obama from what was a natural negative and Obama, cleverly allowed the press to handle this situation for him.
Our spell out of Hussein in this piece was intended as a statement--that when Obama plays on hatred and stereotypes to get his way we will remind him of the hatred and stereotypes he was sheltered from in the press.
Obama wants to be perceived as above the fray and insists (demands!)all of us play fair by him, even as he digs into the mud to belittle women--and others, such as gays.

Yes, I think I see your

Yes, I think I see your point. Thanks for explaining that. Not sure I agree with the strategy (of using his middle name in this context) exactly, as it is an indirect way of expressing the salient concern and could be easily mistaken for a different agenda, but I'm so glad you wrote this piece about Kaine's DNC selection and spelled out why it's such an important issue -- and why it was a bonehead move for Obama to pick him. There's a lot of great information on your site and I've made it part of my regular reading.

If women don't understand how

If women don't understand how detrimental this appointment is to reproductive rights, there may be no hope. It is an 100 year setback!

This is a shameful act of

This is a shameful act of self-preservation on the part of Obama. He is willing to allow this voice of anti-choice to represent the HA party of women, ha, ha--all in the name of bringing in Southern States. THIS IS AS BAD AS PANDERING TO RACIST SOUTHERNERS IN THE 60S BY THE REPUBLICANS. I am so glad FemiSex had the guts to write this so honestly. thanks, thanks and thanks again!
