In an attempt to hold Iowa, team Obama has launched an advertising assault that’s unprecedented here for its price tag and early start. The curtain of fire includes a series of ads portraying Romney as an outsourcer. Fact-checking organizations have discredited the description, but the Obama campaign is betting it resonates with voters.~Des Moines Register

FactCheck.Org has determined that there is “no evidence to support the claim that Romney — while he was still running Bain Capital — shipped American jobs overseas.” That is, the Obama campaign’s line of attack about our prospective “outsourcer-in-chief” appears to have little basis in fact.~NRO

THE OBAMA LIES:
Yet, Obama ran these ads that are total lies:

the “Come and Go,” Obama ad claims that Romney “shipped jobs to China and Mexico.” But two examples cited by the Obama campaign occurred after Romney left Bain. There’s no clear evidence that a third company shipped jobs to China under Romney. The Obama ad casts Romney as a “corporate raider,” but that term, loaded with negative connotations, is simply inaccurate [a total lie!]. Bain didn’t engage in hostile takeovers when Romney was at the helm. [Fact Check also debunked Obama's claims that Romney shipped state government jobs to India.]

The “Revealed” Obama ad mocks Romney’s tough talk about cracking down on China’s trade practices by saying “all he’s ever done is send them our jobs” and citing the Washington Post article. But the newspaper article contained NO examples of U.S. jobs being shipped to China while Romney was working at Bain.

THE ROMNEY TRUTH:

During Bain’s
involvement with GT Bicycles, we doubled the
number of American jobs from about 350 to 750.

By the time Romney left Bain, Stream’s call centers
had grown from just a few hundred people in
Massachusetts to approximately 5,000 employees
across the United States. Stream was not
‘shipping jobs overseas,’ but creating thousands of
jobs for American workers in places like
Massachusetts, Oregon, Tennessee, and Texas.

While
Mitt was around, Modus expanded in the United
States, created around 700 American jobs, and
supported American tech jobs for companies like
Microsoft. Products sold in the Americas were put
together and managed in the United States. Modus
did not send American jobs overseas.

We won't even get into WAPO's egregious campaigning on behalf of Barky in this matter. What does matter is the total LIES Obama is telling every American every time he opens his fairy tale pie hole.

So while Mitt was out creating thousands of private sector jobs Obama--who has not a one to his credit--has only done one thing: be a politician and we all know how many jobs those guys create. Obama can do only one thing: tax and spend. It's time for a White House that grows the economy not one that continually drains it dry.
