Objectify yourself? Gladly, say faux-feminists, who are keen to bring down all women with their anti-female trickery.

palin dressed down to demean all women

Remember when the New Yorker and Slate and Salon put Palin in a bikini? Well there is solid evidence why they did so—to turn a female candidate into a tool, literally! The media plan was to demean Palin and to whip up anti-woman sentiment; the media knows exactly how to pander to sexual stereotypes.
For example, a recent study found:

“Sexy women in bikinis really do inspire some men to see them as objects, according to a new study of male behavior.
Brain scans revealed that when men are shown pictures of scantily clad women, the region of the brain associated with tool use lights up.” ~ National Geographic

Because there was no hue and cry from women over the demeaning treatment of Palin based upon her sexual organs, you can bet your bottom dollar that the next woman who gets close to the top will be treated as either a manipulative b**t** or a bimbo tool by the media, depending, of course if they think she is “sexy” or not. Sexy will get the tool treatment; non-sexy the B- word treatment.

For women who say yes to a female in the White House, but have more emotional barriers to such a reality than Ted (Manslaughter-at-best) Kennedy, there may be little hope. But we don’t need ALL women to see women move forward. Heck, women got to vote over the din of protest of many women of that day. All we need is for the best and brightest of gals to say, Hell NO to sexism and unfair media slander and portrayal of women.

Women, please ask yourselves this? Is it worth it to see a woman you don’t like treated with distain based upon her sex? Are you willing to have yourself mocked in this way? Your daughter? Or could we all agree to DEMAND the end to media manipulation and toolification of women who would be King.

And for those idiots who think it is the same to show a picture of Obama without his shirt, please show me any evidence that men have a more difficult time than women proving they are to be taken seriously as a candidate? Yeah, actually we have 220 years of history proving otherwise.

Let's TOSS OUT those who demean women. Maureen Dowd is almost fully irrelevant after her hideous sexism of 2008. But WATCH out, b/c the Times thinks women are just stupid enough to fall for it again. Please for the sake of all that are woman, let’s NOT allow the Women who Work Against Women to own us.
Let’s take back the Day, the Night, the Dawn and the Twilight. Just say NO to sexism! Don’t be made a tool. And if you are not looking too keen in that bikini, don’t allow societies' bodily demands upon women to allow you to sink envy-ward. Looking good or not in a swimsuit, we have the right to a level of respect equal to what men enjoy.

You are right. We don't need all women. We just need the best and the brightest. This is how movements get started.

And thanks for bringing up the shirtless Obama! So obvious but nice to have it spelled out since so many bring that up as an "equalizing" factor.
