From DBeast: "According to a recent Washington Post/CBS poll, the number of African-Americans who believe Obama’s actions have helped the economy has dropped from 77 percent in October to about half that this month."
FS: yikes, they may love the man but we need someone who can make the economy tick tock go on an upswing and the fact that only 38% of blacks think Obama is helping the economy say a lot! And none of it good. While there is widespread support among minorities for Obama’s want to tax high earners at 70%, there is also a deep understanding that a strong economy is a must. Tax and kill is not a sell.

PK is bat shit crazy!
Paul Krugman is noted now not for being smart but for being self-contradictory to suit his political agenda. Krugman will bash banks all day long over the 2008 economic collapse, while never mentioning the issue that drove the nation over the edge: forced lending to those with no credit or no (or extremely limited downpayments) by Fannie and Freddie…which by 2005 were forced to make upwards of 52% of their loans to those who were poor risks. Ouch.
Krugman never mentions the fact that if your force a person to loan money to a person who most likely will stiff you in the end, you will invent very iffy ways to spread the risk around. (Imagine Obama and kin came to you and said: Dear Mr. and Mrs. X, thank you for being so nice as to always pay your bills, not overextend yourselves and save up some money. Now I am going to force you to loan half of your savings to Mr. Zero who has never saved, has bad credit and has in the past over-extended himself many times. And by the way he has no collateral of any significance to give to your to secure your risk in making this loan. But, Mr. and Mrs. X because you have deferred your gratification and you are doing well I want to spread your money around.
Poor Mr. and Mrs. X. they are in a bind. So they get some folks together and sell those loans they’ve been forced to make to others ..you know to protect themselves a bit. Yes, they are putting other’s at risk and they know this..but…when forced to loan to bad risk, they decided to entice others to loan to bad risk in order to lessen their share of the risk.
But Krugman and Obama and the take money from taxpayers and give it to taxeaters, never mention this and deny that forced loans of Freddie and Fannie to the noncredit worthy cause the 2008 economic collapse. (Bush’s fault all…snore) but in a rare moment of slippage, Freudian if you will, Here is Krugman today in a rare moment of candor:
Texas was spared the worst of the housing crisis, partly because it turns out to have surprisingly strict regulation of mortgage lending.
Uh, oh, time to call out the clarification correction. Krugman will bury you in a flurry of words to deny the root cause of the 2008 meltdown, but there it is…strict regulation of mortgage lending.

Talk about bad teachers...
A petition just came to my inbox about
Kelley Williams-Bolar is a single mom from Akron, Ohio who was sentenced to 10 days in jail and 3 years probation for lying repeatedly and forging state documents to get her kids in a school district where they did not live.
Oh, oh…now the woman claims to be near getting her teaching degree and she wants her felony conviction scrubbed so she can teach kids! Yikes. Teach them what? How to lie and cheat? Here is the truth about her claim on teaching:
But last month, Judge Patricia Cosgrove released a three-page statement updating jurors that the record showed Williams-Bolar's claims to be close to a teaching degree from the University of Akron during her trial were false. The judge cited records released to the Ohio Adult Parole Authority showed she not only wasn't accepted into the University's College of Education but also "...hasn't completed the majority of prerequisite classes to become a teacher."
What’s more, the cheat is more concerned with media coverage than her kids:
hours of jailhouse conversations didn't paint quite the same picture. In the taped calls, excitement filled Williams-Bolar when she and her father chatted about the prospect of her story becoming a movie and getting a boyfriend. "You know Oprah gonna call, you know it," Williams-Bolar exclaimed to her mother. "I'm gonna put my game face on. I'm gonna put on some makeup. Who knows, I might get me an NBA player. I'm letting everybody in the world know I'm single."
How about just not getting anywhere near kids in public schools? That is one thing everyone should agree on...this woman should NOT teach kids anything.
And about that rule of law.. the one that applies to all of us and serves to incentivize society to hard work and deferred gratification.
And ask yourselves, do you want her kids anywhere near yours to pollute them with a home rot culture. Not so much. If this woman had gotten her degree and then had kids this would all be mute point.

If you want to call the Ohio governor and demand that Kelley Williams-Bolar be held accountable for her crimes!.... please do or she just might end up making the public school system a little worse and get tenure while she’s at it.
Now that would be an injustice. 10 days in the hookey for a felony crime. Sounds pretty good to me.

How about just not getting anywhere near kids in public schools?
Sounds about right. The we Dutch pride ourselves on being math smart and make fun of Americans for being math stupid. If someone is actually sending a petition around to get this woman into the American school system teaching, then no wonder American kids can't add two plus two and get four.
This case got a lot of
This case got a lot of statewide attention. I'm guessing that the petition didn't mention that the woman's dad is a liar and crook in his own right. But. Hey that the woman turned out this way is all the fault of shitty schools. When will this fairytale end?
