A staggering national assault occurs daily against women’s bodies with scant attention paid by male-dominated media.

Imagine you live in a small village in Zimbabwe, and there is a hotly contested presidential election. The standing president is Robert Mugabe, and the opposition is Morgan Tsvangirai. Now imagine that Mugabe rounds up all the tribal elders in your village, you know, the folks who meat out punishments for untoward behaviors. The very folks who are intimidating in exactly the same manner a sheriff or local prosecutor might be in the U.S. Now…..imagine Mugabe convinces these law-enforcement folks to loudly proclaim they will fight any untruth said against Mubabe. So out come the Tribal Elders, the law-enforcers of your village, and calling themselves Truth Squads, proclaim they will “remind” voters of untruths, that they will have their eye on anyone who might violate the ethical laws of the village when talking about Mugabe. They will do this unilaterally—that is they say nothing about going after those who speak unkind or spun words about Morgan Tsvangirai. An American who reads an account of such behavior in the international section of their newspapers would shake their head. “Poor bastards,” we’d say. Thank goodness this is America where we’d never think of using law enforcement folks to form Truth Squads for a particular candidate. Could you imagine your local sheriff or prosecutor coming out with such unilateral intimidation—such one-sided application of the law? No Way-Right? But by now, we know this has occurred in the good ol’ USofA. A prosecutor in Missouri, Ms. Jennifer Joyce says she will “respond to any character attacks” against Obama. I just spoke with Sheriff Glenn Boyer, Sheriff of Jefferson County MO, who seems like the nicest of nice guys. Boyer says he was contacted by the Obama campaign, along with other law enforcement types in the area, to see if he’d sign on and up for one of Obama’s Truth Squads. Sheriff Boyer says he only agreed to look over any material that Camp Obama sent his way, but that he never made a firm commitment one way of the other. But the Obama campaign evidently released Sheriff Boyer’s name to the press prior to Boyer giving any consent or agreeing to sign on to these Truth Squads. (On the record as law enforcer Truth Squads: Jennifer Joyce and Bob McCulloch, prosecutors in Missouri, who were interviewed on local TV saying they’d be a part of these unilateral Truth Squads. That is you can count on them to go after only those folks who say bad things about their guy. HELLO, DOES THIS REMIND ANYONE OF THE BUSH ADMIN UNDER GONZALES THAT USED THE JUSTICE DEPARTMENT TO TARGET THE POLITICAL OPPOSITION!) Boyer says he felt the Obama people targeted him because he is local political figure, not because of his office and position as Sheriff. Boyer says he fought in Vietnam to defend the right of free speech, that he would do nothing to infringe upon that right, that he’d never allow his office to be used for political purposes. The problem is…and this is a problem….Obama made sure that is just what happened. When Obama asked Missouri law enforcement officials (as opposed to grandmas or Joe Blows) to target anyone who lies about him, then the office has been violated. When ur tribal leader sends a message of unilateral, partisan, enforcement; when the local prosecutor or sheriff sends a message of unilateral, partisan, enforcement, then you can bet ur bottom dollar that is Frank Intimidation, worthy of 3rd World democracy. Gee, so much forObama being "a different politician", the song and dance that drew so many to him and his phony gospel. Now its obvisous, he's just your typical liberal thug. Expect a lot of voter fraud in St. Louis and Kansas City with the help of ACORN to help Obama cheat to win the election. They might even try to keep the polls open past 7pm, but only in the predominantly dem areas. I don't know you are so perplexed the Democrats are acting this way. This corruption has been going on for years, only now they are very bold about it, right out in the open because they've gotten away with it so long.
It is no wonder why these very same democrats want to ban guns and disarm we the people.

It seems so strange to me... having the Democratic party engaging in these kinds of intimidation tactics. I feel as if I am not longer living in the US. I have wandered into some kind of police state... where I have to watch what I say and do. Make sure that I do not offend the king.
