The Bachelor: a hate job on women

It is horrifying to see women writers pretend that any intelligent woman would like the TV show "The Bachelor," but leave it to anti-woman HuffPo to hire a Liberal Dude Nation chick Emma Gray to title her story thusly: “The Bachelor, Why Smart Women Watch and Love it.” Horrifying! A SMART woman would write a diatribe AGAINST the show—a show that is just another inculcation on how to keep woman at war with one another.

I’ve never watched a reality show in my lifetime. Ever. But this year, after prodding by my TRULY smart friends to watch it and then opine for this website, I did. Horrifying. Seriously horrifying.

In one evening, last night’s episode, I watched as women called each other bitches and other misogynistic terms over and over, taking pot shots at their fat thighs and career choices. The theme was that women must tear each other apart to get the prize: someone to fuck them on a regular basis. Woppee. No wonder HollyHATE puts such trash out there; what is better than women fighting to get some slow-witted dude to screw them.
Now HuffPuff writer Missy Emma admits that

the women on the show are 10 times more awful to each other than we could ever be as viewers ("bitch," "slut," "clinger" and "cougar" are only a selection of names that the finalists threw at one another during the Jan. 9 episode).

But …what she is too Fucking stupid to see or refuses to in order to keep her job is that the simple act of approval of this show and saying it is something a SMART women would watch and yes "love!," is blatant approval for misogyny.

This item by Missy Gray appeared today after last night’s episode. On that episode, the women tarred and feathered each other …one gal in particular, with bitch so many times I lost count. Her crime? A newcomer—outside the clique—showed up with the hope of getting a rose from the Dude—the thing needed to stay in the game. The thing they all want.

I thought of the issue so many women face in the workplace—the fact that the best way for women to advance is to work their way up in one company as opposed to men who can easily job hop their way to better positions and pay. Women are not easily accepted into new groups; they unlike men must spend years earning the affections of other women and woe to the gal who just wants to get the job done, not spend time doing each other's nails and hair or the grownup equivalent.

The newcomer, who had every disadvantage on the show (aggressive behavior in that she was showing up after the starting gun, less time with the man, a prior public dumping by another Bachelor, and an un-ladylike career as a funeral director, etc.) was heaped with hatred by the other women. The scalded her job, thighs, looks, assertion because she was not ONE OF THEM. Bitch bitch bitch whore slut and on it went.

Wow. Never mind that the freak Dude Ben made the girls ski down a street in San Francisco practically naked, many of whom had no idea how to ski or even stop themselves, so potentially dangerous to their knees and joints. Who cares about personal dignity or bodily harm as long as a man is doing it to them.

And this is what our young girls are watching on TV? When so many studies show that having a mentor is so important to workplace success. This show is teaching women to hate on one another and, That women must be at war with each other to succeed in life. Any woman who writes a story on Huff Puff that this horror show is apt for smart woman is NOT playing for our team.
Any woman who finds a show that seems to spend a third of its time calling women bitches and sluts is a smart show worthy of watching is…let’s be frank, not smart at all. If she were on the show the gals would happily call her one dumb slut, the stupid bitch. And if she had a daughter, the kids would learn to find her mother, pretty damn worthless because she had...gasp.."thunder thighs."

When will women smarten up and stop writing anti-woman drivel?

I watched this for the first

I watched this for the first time tonight. Yuck! The poor girl he sent home because she questioned his wisdom of always keeping her in group dates. The guy's a donk.

Why why why would anyone

Why why why would anyone waste time watching this? I'd rather go to one of Michael Vick's dog fights. Both equally inhumane
