The Last Rape, a Ted Koppel documentary-- If ONLY!Tuesday, October 14, 2008 at 10:01 am — admin
If Only—The Last Rape Last night Ted Koppel aired his documentary "The Last Lynching." It reached back to 1981 to detail the horrific details of this crime and the grace of the woman who forgave the killers. Now if only. If ONLY we might have a documentary, "The Last Rape." According to the FBI, 92, 500 women had their undergarments ripped away, genitals exposed, and objects (mostly penises but the occasional inanimate device) rammed into their orifices along with myriad other horrific horrors? These are only the well-documented cases. Thus….The FBI stats on rape are paltry at best. Surveys show that lifetime risk of rape or attempted rape for women hovers around 18 percent. And according to Rape, Abuse, & Incest National Network, 273, 350 women were victims of rape, attempted rape, or sexual assaults in 2006—a far cry from the FBI’s 2006 number. (White women account for 83 percent of rapes, but black women are just as likely as whites to be raped.) In this year when women have seen such tremendous setbacks... (Café Press is selling a tee shirt that shows Palin giving McCain a blowjob and saying, ah…that’s how she got the job, Bill Maher and SNL talk about Palin as a MILF (mother I’d like to fuck) and MSNBC allowed Keith Olbermann to speak of a male talking Hillary to back room until only He comes out, and a Hispanic male said it was AOK to call Hillary a Bitch b/c she is one, and the New York Times just flat out called Hillary a White Bitch)….in such a year, I’d only expect the number of rapes to rise. As a wise FemiSex reader emailed me; after what occurred with Hillary, it is Open Season on women these days. The attacks on Palin only got worse, far bolder than those directed at Hillary; males All over the internet now talk about fantasies of raping Palin, call her a Cunt openly on postings, and tying her down to subject her to "things" and Salon and the New York Times even put Palin in alluring peep-toe shoes and bustier with a whip. NO SUCH degradation will happen to any male candidate no matter how RED,young or old. So guess what ….2008 may just be a much "better" year for rapes than 2006. Thanks Press. Thanks for your help. Thanks for caring as deeply about sexism as u do racism. Remember... misogyny breeds in the culture it lives. Ladies, can a single one of you fathom a documentary on The Last Rape? |

HOW DARE the press ignore the C-word and all the sexist taunts thrown at both HRC and Palin and how dare they say it doesn't matter. sadly women trot after them like so many females in heat.
where's the media for women?
where's the media for women? out with thier sharp knives! Media and men sittin' in a tree kiss, ing!
Media slam women with any chance of REAL power be they red or blue.
roses are red.. violets are blue, we the media hate tough females, all of you!
Amazing the Democrats have
Amazing the Democrats have alway treated women like second class citizens......And the democracts still consider blacks as their personal slaves........
Amazing that partisans
Amazing that partisans attempt to subvert the truth in order to score a point in their own imagination. Lynching, like rape, is an evil of the human psyche - that is why it is so hard to eradicate, but it is deep in the psyche where the cure will be found.
